Hier is what she told Twinny about our eating habits:
We usually have four meals a day.
For breakfast we usually have bread with cheese, bacon, jam or honey. We sometimes have eggs. We usually drink coffee (just my parents), tea, milk or orange juice. We sometimes have fruit with our breakfast.
For lunch we usually have soup and meat and we have rice or potatoes with that. Sometimes we have pasta and we always have salad with our lunch. Sometimes we have mixed vegetables too.
For snack we usually have fruit with some bread.
For dinner we usually have milk or yoghurt with cereals or a sandwich.
Our typical Slovene dishes are potica and prekmurska gibanica.
Potica is a typical Slovenian dish. It is a dessert roll with sweet and nutty filling.
Prekmurska gibanica is made of apples, poppy, nuts, raisins and curd cheese. They put it together by layers.
